AN UNFAIR ATTACK

i just awoke from a dream. i was at home... not here in san francisco, mind you, but back at my mother's house in oc. she was working busily in the kitchen, minding her own business as i entered the room. i immediately lashed out at the fact she was republican, calling her names and violently attacking her vote. amid the rant, my words became less and less clear until all i could hear was silence... and yet, the violent visuals remained...

i woke, ashamed. though, a part of me is glad that this attack took place in dream land. hopefully, i've said all i need to say, regardless of whether or not i've actually said anything at all.

OUR OWN LITTLE ISLAND...

i don't suppose there's much to say on a day like today. like a many of you, i'm sure, i feel distinctly displeased with slightly over half of the country i live in. glances at the county-wide breakdown of votes tallied in cnn's coverage seems to indicate that if you don't live by water, you somehow seem to think the events of the last four year were either insignificant or, i don't know... okay? well, as glad as i am about living in a county and city who seem to fully support my beliefs, i am disgruntled by this loss.

who wants to move? and where? we need a new base of operations for sane people who were once americans. either that or we need to somehow make our voices louder.

people don't want to change their minds. i know i won't change mine. what a conundrum.
